Darul Uloom Alimia jamda shahi Basti,UP

Darul Uloom Alimia is situated in village Jamda Shahi, near Basti Bansi Road, about 15 km from District Basti head quarter. It was founded in 1953 on instruction of Moballigh-e-Islam Hazrat Allama Abdul Aleem Meeruthi (Died 1370 A.H) (May Allah rest his soul in peace) by the righteous and high-in confidence muslims of the village, to create religious awareness and spread education among its people, calling Madarsa Alimia after Moballigh-e-Islam Allama Abdul Aleem Meeruthi, despite lack of means and resources and evil forces trying their best to spoil the plan. This Madarsa continued its progress and converted to a comprehensive Darul Uloom in 1972. Throughout these years philanthropist Shams-ul-Haque-Alimi a true deciple of Moballigh-e-Islam, and some of his friends played a key role in establishment and development of this Madarsa, and Allama Mushtaque Ahmed Nezami, the great Islamic orator had been as a guide and supervisor to its working team, Mufti-e-Azam-Hind, Mohaddis-e-Azam-Hind, Haafiz e-Millat and Sayyedul Ulama Marehravi (May Allah rest their soul in peace) all had been very kind and generous towards this Madarsa. But the era of renaissance started from 1986 by special interest and favour of Late philanthropist Ghulam Mustafa Razvi, under the auspicious leadership of Shaikul Quran Hazrat Allama Abdullah Khan Azizi, and it made a long leap in terms of education, building and teaching staff, and because of its eminence in the field of education it began to be counted among frontline Islamic Madarsa of India, and two years later,”Daura-e-Hadith” course was also started.
